What is StillEffects?
www.stilleffects.com is an online archive for graphic designers/ photographers.
The Effects are premade as Photoshop Layer templates and they can be added to your own image(s) within any Photoshop version that you have (starting from Photoshop 6.0)
Fields of use can be: photo, art & poster-printing or webdesign etc..
All Visual Effects can be downloaded right away for immediate use or you can order the "Premium DVD" that contains the whole Archive.

What version of Photoshop do I need to have?
Any Adobe Photoshop version (starting from Photoshop 6.0 up to CS3 and all Photoshop Elements versions) will do. Photoshop will let you control layers while some Photoshop Elements versions do not allow to edit layers.
Adobe's "Photoshop Elements" could be a very nice alternative to the bigger and more expensive "Photoshop". It's a bargain compared to Photoshop! It has about 90 % of all most used tools and features. Yet, "Photoshop Elements" is about 90% cheaper!
It is being sold online for about 85 euro's (about 100 dollars).

What about square/ rectangle & high resolution poster images?
Every filter-template that shown in the library comes as a double (!) file that covers both square and rectangle images! You are not restricted. Please keep in mind however that stretching graphic's and images cannot be done without visual incorrect appearance. Therefore, it is wise to alter dimension not too heavily, wich will result in visualy correct effects.

Can I customize StillEffects?
Yes. No restrictions. You can change colors, transparancies, shapes , sizes & resolutions, etc. Create endless numbers of your own, personal customized templates by combining them; just drop them on top each other. You are completely free in the creative process. When finished you easily remove them from your image all the same!

When do I choose a download license?
If you have a decent internet connection speed we would advice to purchase a download license
It's quick and saves you money over a DVD. You will have acces to the online collection right away. Download acces for 12 months. Membership/ accounts will never expire. Upgrading is possible anytime.

When do I choose for the "Premium DVD?
If your internet connection is not that reliable or fast, you might want to order the "Premium" DVD-rom instead of a download license. This will make sure you will have acces to the whole Stilleffects archive quickly and without any time frame restriction.
